LAKE HENNESSY, Napa Valley, CA
A local jewel and somewhat of a local secret, Lake Hennessy is enjoyed by boaters, fishermen, hikers and of coarse photographers. As often as we have visited, it is always different and always a treat. The photo collection is not yet complete and the following photos are only temporary samples.

The launch ramp and dock
Looking north and waiting to put-in.
Feet up taking in the sun and the views
Often we are the only people on the lake and it is sooo peaceful.
Drifting among the grass
If you float quietly the fish will come out from hiding and the birds will sing.
Lake Residents
Many birds call the lake home while others use it as a seasonal stop over.
Skimming over mirror like waters
Early morning paddles are often rewarded with still waters that reflect the lakeside hills.
A sad departure
We always hate to leave, but with the boats on the trailer we are already looking forward to our next paddle.
